The ability to organise your thoughts and speak confidently and fluently to an audience is a crucial business skill. Have your audience listen to you, understand and enjoy everything you say for the whole of your presentation. You may be presenting a case to a board or committee, or explaining a process to a group of trainees, or to a single student, or to a thousand in an auditorium.

If you are to leave a good impression of yourself, or of your company, you need to be able to speak well in public.

Who? - are my audience?
What? - do they want to know? What do they know already? What points do I want to get across?
Why? - will they be interested? Why do I want to talk to them?
How? - will they react? How can I make it clear? How will I know if I have succeeded?
Where? - will I be talking to them?
When? - do I need to stop? How much time have I for the presentation and questions?
